I've been looking for the perfect wedding theme that would suit my personality and finally I found it.
I've been color combinations like Pink and Purple or Pink and Aqua, but when I found this, I knew this is the one I've been looking for. :)
This is how I imagine my wedding reception :) Sobrang romantic :)

Winter Wonderland Theme
Herbs and Spices
Herbs and Spices, formerly Goblet invited us for Food Tasting. And since we're also planning to visit 55 Events Place, we decided to drop by.
The food was great lalo na yung Roasted Beef. Dun ata talaga sila famous. Luis, the manager is very accomodating.. kung kagaya nya lahat ng mga cater edi mas okey.. :)
Elements, Pacio de Manila & The Venue Prism Plaza, SMX Convention Center
We need to finalize the place na, it's already February and wala pa rin definite na venue for the wedding. So today, we visited Elements at Centris, Palacio de Manila & The Venue Prism Plaza
Elements @ Centris
Were considering Elements kasi nasa QC lang din sya. Okey naman yung venue, around 55k and Hall. Pero if ever magtataas sya next year, magdadagdag pa daw kame.. And since Jan naman yung wedding, which usually one month before the wedding dapat fully paid na, so ndi na ata kame affected nung increase. And since wala silang package, we need to have another contract with accredited caterer. If ever Centris, will for Tjoie the Caterer or Verleo. If ever kc Purple Dish or Passion Cooks, we need to pay 30% of the contract charge. Medyo mataas yung rate nila sa corkage infairness.
Palacio de Manila
I really love this place. Malaki sya at the same time maganda magpicture sa labas. Pde pang by the Bay. Caterer din sila Verleo and Tjoie kaso di okey yung food sa package. So nagrequest kame na if ever pde Lauriat yung kay Tjoie. If you would rent the place lang, 123k ang rate nya... ang mahal. :( so stick with the package, kaso parang tipid yung food. :(
After Palacio, we decided to drop by sa place ni Tjoie sa may Tambo, Paranaque kaso wala na palang office ng afternoon. :( So sad :( Another thing, wala ata silang restau na pde itry ang food ni Tjoie.
The Venue, Prism Plaza
So far, this is the best place na nakita ko. Free Fireworks pa from MOA every Saturday :)
If you would rate the place, around 55k ang rate ng 2 Halls, maliit kc kung isa lang.
A bit pricey, kasi sobrang laki ng place.
Buffet vs Plated vs Lauriat
If you were to ask me, I would definitely go for Lauriat type. I prefer this because in my dream wedding, this is the type of food I want to serve for my guests. I cannot forget the wedding we attended in Manila Hotel wherein I was really overwhelmed with the food. I want my guests to feel the same way.
First choice was Lauriat, unfortunately as we canvass with different caterers, only few serves this type. So far, Tjoie the Caterer is our only choice. Other hotels also serves lauriat but they are too expensive. If only I could afford to get the Manila Hotel, I'd definitely go for it. But then, I have to go back to reality. :) We need to cut down the budget for the food. Gloria Maris Greenhills is also another choice. I love the place and the food, but manager who entertains our inquiries is not really accommodating. is this how you entertain your clients?
Next choice was Buffet, since most of the venues have wedding packages with Buffet type , we might as well consider this. If ever we go for buffet, I want to have carving stations and dessert bar. :)
As for the Plated Type, I don't really consider this at all. :)
Pink & Periwinkle or Pink & Aqua?
Initially Jeff want it to be Pink and Periwinkle, but it's kinda hard to find the Periwinkle. I love the idea of the glass as centerpiece. A touch of elegance at the same time shows the childish part of us. :)
So I'm thinking of changing to Pink and Aqua. Here are some of wedding theme inspirations I got from the net.
