The Blueleaf Filipinas

We were in the Bridal Fair at SMX and we passed by this new events place in Pasay, Blueleaf Filipinas. It was the one our caterer has recommended before but it's really pricey. Currently, it's under construction but will open on September 2013.

When we saw the pictures, we fell in love with the place. Perfect! Suddenly, we entertained the idea of shifting from Le Parc to Blueleaf Filipinas. It's like 67,200 vs 130,000.

After a couple hours, we decided to book the Blueleaf Filipinas :) We paid 70k to get the 10K discount.

Officially, we're booked :) Don Bosco and Blueleaf Filipinas :)  Save the date - January 25, 2014

Food Tasting with Tjoie the Caterer

We've been looking for Chinese Food caterer and Tjoie has always been on top of our list. Finally, will have food tasting with Tjoie. We went to the place and quite surprise that it was a residence. We are so glad to see that the owners of Tjoie the Caterer are all hands-on to their business. Chef Jefferson personally prepared the food. On the other Sir Edwin discuss the package for Lauriat. They are all very hospitable. He's so cool unlike other caterers na on the spot, they want the down payment to save the date. But with him, he tod us to finalize first the place, kc they need to cook for Lauriat. We need to verify with Le Parc if they can be allowed to cook outside. We're also quite surprise that only Jeff and I will have the food taste.

No words can express the taste of an authentic Chinese Food. Simply the best! Tjoie has captured the taste of my favorite Chinese Restaurants like Luck Garden, Savory, Superbowl of China, Mann Hann etc.

Appetizer:
4-kinds Hot Cuts
- 2-kinds Egg Stuff
- Seaweeds
- Pork Roll w/ Aioli Sauce
- Ivory Chicken w/ Cilantro

Soup:
Crab Meat Fish Lip Soup
Main:
Noodle
Hot Prawn Salad with Mango
Fried Crab, Roasted Garlic
Sauteed Broccoli Flower w/ 3-kinds Mushroom w/ Dried Scallops

Saint Alphonsus Mary de Liguori Church (Magallanes Church)

Since we're looking for a church near Le Parc, we thought of Saint Alphonsus Church in Magallanes. The church is really nice. Yun nga lang parang ang hirap pag walang traspo. So we need to find another na mas accessible.

Address: , Humabon St., Magallanes Village, Makati City, Metro Manila, Philippines,
Telephone No: (632) 852-2750; 852-8228
Fax No: (632) 852-7284

Weddings in the Saint Alphonsus Church are on a first-come, first-served basis, and are usually held on Tuesdays to Saturday, at 9:00 AM and at 3:00 PM, so there is no feeling of rush before or after the ceremony. They also require that the wedding planner and florist coordinate with the office; for guest singers to bring their own accompaniment; and for the couple to conduct a wedding rehearsal at least a week before the actual wedding date.

Le Pavillion - Park Metro (Le Parc)

I got confused sa Le Pavillin and Le Parc, magkaiba pala silang dalawa. All this time, my mind is set to Le Pavillion but then malaki din pala ang difference ng price nila. Le Pavillion is 85K and Le Parc is 67,200. Since we will be having lauriat, medyo titipirin namin ang place kc food pa lang, nasa 300k na.

We had ocular visit to Le Parc. Nice place, bago pa yung building and yung interior nya is okay, may chandeliers  pa sa may stage. One thing lang, is yung division ng 2 halls, since we're gonna be getting the 2 Halls, parang hirap icombine kc may mga divisions sa gitna so baka yung iba ndi na makita yung stage. Pero infairness okey yung place. I was wondering kung kaya icompress yung 200 people sa loob ng Main Hall para dun sa kabila na lng yung cocktails, photobooth, photowall, sweets, and mobile bar.

When we visited Le Pavillion, may nagsesetup kc may prom ata yung isang school. I like this better than Le Parc kc mas malaki at walng dividers. But then, will go back to budget issues. hahahaha.

So right now, we have decided na Le Parc na kame. Will have to reserve na lang by Monday. :) I was looking for events / pictures / setup sa Le Parc pero nahirapan akong maghanap. Suddenly I got into a page na ang Location is Met Park, and this is the same structure as Le Parc. So I try to search for keywords like Met Park and Le Pavillion - Park Metro... siguro yun yung name nya dati. :)
